This unique Christmas CD features electronic orchestrations by master keyboardist/arranger Pete Levin (Gil Evans, Paul Simon, Annie Lennox)
and drums & percussion by Danny Gottlieb (Pat Metheny, Sting, John McLaughlin, Gary Sinese).
"MASTERS IN THIS HALL" was originally release as a sequel to Pete & Danny's highly successful Atlantic Records album "The New Age of Christmas." Unavailable since shortly after its 1990 release, MASTERS has been remixed and remastered. The album features unique World Beat/Jazz arrangements of 12 holiday favorites, performed by two veterans of the New York & International music scene. For some of these traditional holiday songs, we've used what might be the original title, or at least the oldest transcribed of the song title we were able to find.
